Parents Are Navigating the Age of AI. You Don't Have to Figure It Out Alone.

AI is reshaping how families learn, communicate, and prepare for the future. Many parents feel uncertain about where to start — and many children sense that uncertainty. ParentYog was built for parents who want to understand AI through lived experience, not theory.

  • AI feels overwhelming — most parents weren't taught to use it, let alone guide a family through it
  • Technology can create distance in families when parents don't feel confident engaging with what their children are experiencing
  • Schools are moving slowly — families who build together often develop stronger adaptability than those who wait
  • There is almost no space designed specifically for parents to learn AI through real project-building and founder-led experience-sharing
📚
AI feels unfamiliar

Most parents weren't taught to use AI tools — and guiding a family through something unfamiliar is harder than it sounds.

🔗
Connection takes effort

Shared problem-solving — especially around something as meaningful as AI — can rebuild bridges that lectures and worry cannot.

Building creates confidence

We discovered firsthand: when families build an AI project together, something shifts. Fear becomes curiosity. Distance becomes collaboration.

🏆
Hackathon mindset works

Our family competed at TED AI 2024. The hackathon environment — real problem, real build, real stake — created bonds no classroom activity could.

We Are a Parent-Founded AI Company — and This Is Our Story

DLYog = Deep Learning + Yog. "Yog" is a Sanskrit word meaning connection. DLYog Lab means deep learning connection — and that is exactly what this company was built on: connection between family members, between AI and human empathy, and between parents who want to guide their children without pretending to have all the answers.

"We built an app for autism support. We built a drug discovery game. We filed a patent. We competed at TED AI 2024 — our daughter Tanisha Chawdhury stood on the main stage in San Francisco. The most important thing we built was confidence and connection — as a family."

DLYog Lab began when our founders built AI4Echolalia — an AI-assisted complement to speech therapy — to help their special-needs son and other special-needs parents support communication development at home. From that foundation, the company grew to include hackathon projects, a neurotypical high-schooler's collaboration, and finally ParentYog itself.

We Don’t Just Teach AI. We Built It — As a Family.

Before we designed any curriculum, we lived it. Our father-daughter team has won hackathons, built award-recognized AI applications, filed a patent, and stood on the TED AI main stage in San Francisco. ParentYog exists because we saw firsthand what happens when families build AI together.

GemmaCure 3D — AI Drug Discovery, Reimagined as a Game

Tanisha Chawdhury (daughter, Franklin High School sophomore) and Tarun Chawdhury (father, AI engineer at DLYog Lab) built GemmaCure 3D together. Tanisha's idea: "Make the disease a boss. Make the drug the ammunition."

They fine-tuned Google Gemma 4 E2B on 225,000 real drug-target experiments to generate pharmaceutical-grade molecules — wrapped in a 3D battle game where students defeat COVID, Cancer, and HIV as final bosses.

AI4Echolalia — 2nd Place, TED AI Hackathon 2024

Our daughter Tanisha Chawdhury stood on the TED AI main stage in San Francisco — not as a spectator, but as a co-creator and presenter. She was a high school student who helped build and pitch an AI app that helps parents of children with autism and echolalia.

AI4Echolalia listens to real parent-child conversations and provides live AI coaching guidance to parents. It won 2nd place at TED AI Hackathon 2024. A patent was subsequently filed. Georgia Tech featured our story.

💡

AI Literacy + Safety

Understand how AI works in practical terms. Have honest family conversations about responsible AI use.

🏆

Parent-Led Showcase

Day 2 includes an optional parent-led showcase where participating parents may share a concept or prototype. Any family member involvement is at parent discretion and under parent supervision.

🎓

Certificate of Completion

Participating parents receive a Certificate of Participation from DLYog Lab Research Services LLC acknowledging completion of a parent-focused AI connection and problem-solving workshop.
